MEET THE DOCTORS

Dr. French has been practicing dentistry for over 3 decades. He graduated from Waterloo High School in 1977. He received his BS in Biology, cum laude, from Niagara University in 1981. He earned his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1985.

Dr. French maintains two dental practices. James Street Dental Arts in Syracuse and French Family Dentists in Waterloo, NY.

Dr. French is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, and the Onondaga County Dental Society.  He is a committee member for Peer Review for the Fifth District Dental Society. Dr. French stays up to date on the newest information and techniques through continuing education with The Syracuse Dental Study Club and the Spear Study Club. To date, Dr. French has completed over 900 hours of continuing education credits.

Dr. French is proficient in all phases of General Dentistry, including full mouth rehabilitation, implant dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. He is also a Preferred Provider for Invisalign orthodontics.

He resides in Onondaga Hill with his wife, Nancy, and two sons, Zachary and Andrew.

Dr. Streiff is a native of Syracuse. He graduated from West Genesee High School, Onondaga Community College, and Le Moyne College, receiving his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2015. He then continued his training at Upstate Medical University where he completed his general practice residency in 2016. Dr. Streiff was invited to join our practice in 2016 and also works with Dr. French at his Syracuse, NY office.

He continues to educate himself in advances in dental medicine by attending dental seminars, courses and through his association with the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Fifth District Dental Society, and Onondaga County Dental Society. He has a special interest in all aspects of preventative and restorative dentistry. Dr. Streiff resides in Camillus with his wife Sarah and daughter Maeve where they are parishioners of Holy Family Church. His personal interests include hockey, golfing, fishing, skiing, and of course, the Syracuse Orange.
